The New York Climate Exchange has announced the Sustainable Solutions Challenge, an open call for groundbreaking, implementation-ready innovations that can be integrated into its new Climate Hub on Governors Island, scheduled to open in Fall 2029.

The challenge invites innovators, researchers, businesses, and organizations from around the world to propose scalable, adaptable solutions in the following areas:

? Built Environment & Design
? Infrastructure Systems & Resource Efficiency
? Resilient Ecosystems & Landscape Design
? Other bold, unconventional ideas aligned with the mission of advancing sustainability and urban resilience

Selected proposals will have the opportunity to:
?? Showcase their innovations at a globally recognized climate center
?? Engage with policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers during Climate Week 2025 and other global forums
?? Collaborate with leading experts to explore real-world applications of their solutions
