Speaking at Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit 2022, Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman during her keynote address on “Climate Change & Way Forward for Pakistan” stressed, "Pakistan is at the frontlines of a global climate catastrophe & we cannot look towards nature to reset by default." She said, "Everybody is looking at the nature to reset to default, which is not happening. We need to build green technology & green goals and we would appreciate initiatives from the tech companies who are not looking for CSR Pilot projects to wash off their carbon offsets."
